Wagner leaves Huddersfield
|
Sam Allardyce has emerged as the new favourite to replace under-pressure Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner.
The much-traveled former England manager is available at odds as short as 4/1 and leads the way ahead of the likes of David Moyes (9/1) and Alan Pardew (10/1).

Anyone know why Curbishley can't get another job in management or has he just had enough?

Because Wagner WANTED to leave?
Chairman basically said he needed time out. Flogging a dead horse can't be good.

It's disappointing to see Wagner go but it seems it was by mutual agreement. Dyche took Burnley up to the EPL [ a similar small club like Huddersfield ] and they lasted just one season going immediately down. Dyche and Burnley have stuck together coming back up immediately and still surviving in the EPL.
Begs the question as to why Huddersfield did not stick with Wagner.

I didn't know that. Yes, honourable indeed. Rare in this game, too.

He probably realised that he could go and get a decent job for a bigger club that has more money to spend in a nicer place that can give him a better chance of not getting his arse kicked most weeks.

Alfs, he went to them as the club would never sack him , very honorable in my opinion.

The bloke has made Huddersfield over £200 million by getting them promoted and then avoiding relegation in a league way out of their league. He should have been given the keys to the city, not sacked (by mutual consent).

Arf!
They had to do something. Perhaps the Walrus can finally get relegated, shame for Huddersfield if so but it would make me smile.

Moyes,Pardew and the walrus all rushing to Yorkshire. First one to arrive gets the job unless the fans stone him to death.
